Arabic Coffee

A simple yet exquisite beverage, both Arabic coffee and Turkish coffee are made in a similar way. All that is different is, the coffee powder.

Ingredients:
Arabic Coffee Powder – 2 Tablespoons
Spring Water – 4 ounces
Sugar – 3/4 Teaspoon

Method:

1. Put the room temperature water, coffee powder and sugar in an ibrik.
2. Place the ibrik on a medium heat.
3. After the coffee is absorbed into the water, give it a stir.
4. Allow the coffee to boil up but not out.
5. Take the ibrik off the heat.
6. Again, allow the coffee to boil up but not out.
7. Take the ibrik off the heat and pour the coffee into the cups in parts so as to distribute the foam as evenly as possible.
8. Serve with a glass of cold water.
