Paneer Bhurji

Extremely delicious, can be made in a jiffy and a perfect meal option for a busy week! Can be enjoyed warm with plain rice and or chapati, phulka. Leftovers can be used to make stuffed parathas or creative Paneer Bhurji Fillo Bites!

Ingredients for Paneer Bhurji:

Paneer – 10oz, grated
Onion – 1 finely chopped
Green Chilli – 1 finely chopped
Tomato – 1 finely chopped
Tomato Paste – 2 Tbsp (Optional)
Butter – 2 Tbsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp
Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 Tbsp
Garam Masala Powder – ½ Tsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp
Turmeric – ¼ Tsp
Coriander-Cumin Powder – ½ Tbsp
Cilantro – for Garnish

Method:

1. Add Butter to the pan on medium heat.
2. Once butter melts, add cumin seeds.
3. Now add finely chopped onions and green chilli.
4. Add salt and cook onions until brown.
5. Now add finely chopped tomato and ginger garlic paste. Cover and cook for 3-5 minutes.
6. Add Tomato Paste and stir around.
7. Now add Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Coriander-Cumin Powder, Garam Masala and Turmeric, stir well.
8. Add grated Paneer, mix and cook well for 2-3 minutes.
9. Add fresh chopped Cilantro to finish.
10. Enjoy warm with plain rice and or chapati, phulka!
