Aloo Kheema Matar/Goat mince with potatoes & green peas

Goat/Lamb Kheema laced with amazing flavors and a great start to the week. Serve with with pavs, phulka/chapati or naan, a perfect Iranin chai compliments really well too. Try this easy recipe and you won’t regret it!

Ingredients for Aloo Kheema Matar:

Lamb/Goat Kheema/Mince – 250 grams
Potato – 1 medium cut in wedges
Green Peas – ½ Cup
Oil – 2 Tbsp
Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 Tbsp
Salt – 1 Tsp
Coriander Cumin Powder – 1 Tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – ½ Tsp
Garam Masala Powder – ½ Tsp
Cilantro – to garnish
Water – ½ Cup

Method:

1. Heat oil in a pan on high heat.
2. Add chopped onions, salt and fry till translucent.
3. Now add ginger garlic paste and stir well.
4. Add kheema, stir well.
5. Add coriander cumin powder, red chilli powder & turmeric. Stir well.
6. Now add water.
7. Cover and cook for 40-45 minutes or until done on medium heat.
8. Now add garam masala, cilantro (fresh or frozen). Stir well.
9. Serve hot with pav, bread, rotis or naans!
